Galvanized and Coated Sheets/Coils
1. Brief
Galvanizing
Masteel's continuous hot-dip galvanizing line has been
constructed with world advanced technology and key equipment
imported from Nippon steel and Toshiba etc. and adopted the
improved Sendzimir process. It has successfully produced the
first hot-dip galvanized coil on January 20, 2004, and on
March 10 the first hot-dip galvanized sheet has been made with
its own raw material.
Process flow of the line: Full hard cold rolled coil -
cleaning - annealing in a continuous horizontal furnace - dip
galvanizing in the molten zinc pot (GI or SZ) - air knife -
skin pass - stretcher leveling - chromic acid passivation/black
resistance - oiling - coiling.
The line is equipped with finishing line & cold shearing
line as well. It can crosscut, slit or divide coil according
to users' requirement.
The hot-dip galvanizing line has an annual production
capacity of 350,000 tons with products in sizes of
0.3-2.5*900-1575 mm. Typical steel grade produced are SGCC and
SGCD.
At present, the plant can organize production in accordance
with the international standards such as JIS, DIN and ISO (SZ
stands for Zn-Al alloy steel, containing 5% Al in coated
layer, equal to GF grade).
The products from the line are all zero spangle type with
super property, beautifully evenly zinc coating, excellent
corrosion resisting performance and process properties. They
can be widely used in industries such as buildings, household
electrical appliances, automobile, vessel and package,
meanwhile, the products are good base materials for coating.
Masteel has built another line namely No.2 continuous hot
dip galvanizing line with international advanced technology
and key equipment imported from SMS-Demag, STEIN-HEURTEY,
TOSHIBA-GE and United Steel.
Process flow: Full hard cold rolled coil - cleaning with
electrolytic process - annealing in a vertical furnace - zinc
pot (GI or GA pot) - alloying furnace - cooling tower -
intermediate looper - skin pass - stretcher leveling - chromic
acid passivation/finger print resistance - oiling - coiling.
No.2 continuous hot-dip galvanizing line has an annual
production capacity of 350,000 tons with products in sizes of
0.3-2.0*900-1600 mm.
At present, the plant can organize production in accordance
with DINEN standards to make products in type of CQ-SEDDQ,
HSS-CQ-DDQ, BH, DP. Surface treatment includes passivation,
finger print resistance and oiling.
The products of the line are all zero spangle type with
super property, beautifully evenly zinc coating, excellent
corrosion resisting and processing properties. They can be
mainly used in industries such as buildings, household
electrical appliances, automobile, vessel and package, etc.
Color coating
Masteel has two color coating lines with annual capacity of
150,000 tons each. The key technique and equipment are
introduced from Italy's FATA HUNTER company, adopting coating
twice & baking twice roll-coating process.
The line is now under construction and planed to complete
and put into production in September, 2004. For starting
material, it will use hot-dip galvanized sheet or cold rolled
sheet produced by Masteel itself. Process flow: after cleaning
and surface chemical pre-treatment, hot-dip galvanized coils
(GI, SZ) or cold rolled coils (CR) are roll-coated, then
undergoes baking and fixing, and it is embossed, printed and
laminated before cooling down.
With its sizes in 0.3-1.6*600-1575 mm, the products are
single-side coated, double-side coated, single-layer coated,
double-layer coated, embossed (1# line, printed, laminated (2#
line). Typical steel grade to be produced are TSGCC, TSGCD
& TSZACC.
The products have good corrosion resisting property and are
good for decorating, which can be wildly used in such fields
as the external & internal building wall decoration,
making doors and windows, household electrical appliances and
furniture, etc.
